Privacy policy

This page explains in plain terms what this website collects, why, and what you can ask of us.

Data controller

The controller of the details you send us through this website is Ioannis Palaiopanos (Παλαιόπανος Ιωάννης), trading as G.P.M. Moto Service, 63 Grammou Avenue, 45445 Ioannina, Greece. Contact: giannispalios18@gmail.com or phone 26510 39915.

Booking form

The booking form asks for your name and phone number. You may also give an email address, the make and model of your bike, a date and time that suit you, and a message. To submit it you tick a box to confirm you agree with this policy. We use the details only to answer you and arrange the appointment. The legal basis is your request and your consent.

Form submissions are received and stored by our own form service, operated by the studio that maintains this website, and forwarded to us by email. They are kept for as long as we need them to answer you and are deleted on request. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the submission comes from a person rather than an automated script.

When the booking form is shown, that is, when the page scrolls close to the form or you focus in it, Cloudflare Turnstile loads to check that you are not an automated program. Cloudflare receives your IP address and technical details of your device from that moment, before you submit anything.

Google Maps

The contact section of the home page shows our address and a "Load Google map" button. The map loads only when you press the button; until then there is no contact with Google at all. Once you load it, your browser contacts Google, which receives your IP address and technical details of your device and may set its own cookies, under its own privacy policy. We receive nothing from that exchange. If you do not want that, do not press the button: the "Open in Google Maps" link next to it takes you to Google only if you follow it.

Analytics and cookies

This website uses no analytics or tracking tools and sets no advertising cookies of its own. More on the Cookie policy page.

Display preferences

If you change the site's display preferences (text size, contrast, motion and so on), your choices are stored locally on your own device, in your browser's localStorage, under the key a11y-prefs-v1. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. They are removed by the panel's Reset, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask for access to your details, correction, erasure or restriction of their processing, object to the processing, and ask for portability. Where the processing rests on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Send your request to giannispalios18@gmail.com. We keep the details you sent for as long as we need them to answer your request, and delete them when you ask.

If you believe your details are not handled properly, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, www.dpa.gr.
