# Tyres

> Tyre changes for motorcycles, step-throughs and scooters at 63 Grammou Avenue in Ioannina, on the workshop's tyre changer.

We change tyres here, on the tyre changer, and inflate them to the pressure the manufacturer gives. We replace the valve when it needs it.

A tyre needs changing once the tread is down to the wear indicators in the grooves, or once the rubber has gone hard and cracked, even if there's tread left. More on wear and tyre age [in this piece](/en/fthora-elastikon/).

If it has worn on one side only, or it needs air every few days, mention it when you come in: something is causing it.
